Montana is blind in one eye, possibly blind in the other eye due to uveitis. New to the rescue in November, 2022, he arrived with his donkey companion, Jed, from a home that could no longer physically or financially care for them. With Jed as his emotional support donkey, Montana has adjusted wonderfully to his new home and caregivers. Because of his blindness and his dependence upon Jed as a longtime companion, these two will remain together. Montana was a little underweight when he first arrived, but he filled out quickly.
