Hope For Horses Community Festival
in celebration of the
ASPCA National Help A Horse Day

In conjuction with the ASPCA's National #HelpAHorse Day H.O.P.E. Acres Rescue will be hosting an Open House at our NEW LOCATION, 1044 Eagle Harbor Drive, Summerville, SC. SkarLett will be in concert throughout the event, Pastor Robbie Foreman will lead the event in prayer over the new location and our herd. BBQ and hotdogs will be available for purchase, Jump Castle, Adult & Kid games, Vendors, Craft and Raffles. FREE ADMISSION and open to the public. Folks are encouraged to bring donations of coastal hay, fly spray, lead lines, Purina Senior Feed, Dumor Equistages Feed, Large Salt Blocks, Halters, Shampoos, Conditioners, Gift Cards, etc. and let's see if we can "Fill The Trailer" for our precious equines. This is sure to be a fun-filled, educational day for both our community and rescue efforts. We "hope" you will join us!
If you are unable to participate in the days events, we encourage you to reach out to another rescue or your local equine community and lend a hand any day during the month of April. You could assist with feedings, help with grooming, clean a stall or two, make a donation, sponsor a horse or perhaps adopt. Every bit that we give collectively adds up to substantial impacts in our community!!
A very heartfelt "Thank You" to Girl Scout Troop 632 for choosing H.O.P.E. Acres Rescue to be featured in their silver medal project where they highlight helping homeless and abused horses and the people who rescue them.

HOPE FOR HORSES Community Festival

We had a wonderful turnout nearing 200 in attendance at our "Hope for Horses" event. Amazingly God spared us from the imminent danger of pouring rain and gusting winds. What a blessing that was and the festival was a hit! A very sincere "Thank You" again to all of the individuals, businesses and special guests who made the day a huge success. We enjoyed lunch, games, entertainment, a blessing of the farm and the herd, made several farm tours with new friends and had an incredible "Fill The Trailer" turn out. Additionally, we have two families very interested in adoptions. We could not be more grateful to all who gave of their time, resources, gifts, talents and support.
We pray that our efforts and our horses will soon be blessed with an awarding of one of several ASPCA grants, valued up to $10,000.00! These funds, if awarded, would go directly toward our educational program. This grant would enable us to do much more outreach, teaching and training at the farm.
We have been requested to do another event this fall and will surely see you all again next year for the ASPCA's annual #HelpAHorse Day event!
