Jaime came to H.O.P.E. Acres in October, 2017. Former working horses, Jaime and her sister Maci found a new home after their retirement. When their care unfortunately became too much of a financial burden, their owner contacted H.O.P.E., where they would be guaranteed to receive the love and care they need. Jaime has arthritis and anhidrosis, which is a decreased ability to sweat that makes her very susceptible to heat stroke.
Both mares have sweet dispositions, but Jaime is the more outgoing of the two. You can tell her apart from Maci by her longer mane.
