We are happy to welcome this beautiful little mare to H.O.P.E. and look forward to getting to know her. Sweet and a little sassy, her personality will be sure to win her many new friends among our volunteers.
49 horses were seized in Kershaw County by authorities for neglect. Amira was one of a group of 5 that came to H.O.P.E. in March. While not malnourished, Amira and her pasture mates did not receive routine vaccinations, deworming, or farrier care at their former home. They all desperately needed their hooves trimmed and treatment for lice.
